We're looking for a friendly, bilingual Japanese and English speaker who loves great service! You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and inclusive guest experience through attentive service and clear communication.
Spend your workday in one of Tropical North Queensland’s most iconic island locations. Green Island, located 27km offshore from Cairns, offers a unique opportunity to work in a relaxed, friendly and truly special environment.
About the Role:
- Provide friendly and efficient food and beverage service
- Greet guests and process orders in a professional and welcoming manner
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front of house teams
- Support the bar, café, restaurant or buffet operations as rostered
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of service areas
What We’re Looking For:
- Language: Native or high-conversational fluency in both Japanese and English.
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Passion for customer service
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work on a rotating roster, that will include weekends and public holidays
- Previous hospitality experience including bar and barista work is desirable but not essential
